The Revenue and Recovery Division is responsible for establishing accounts receivables, managing, collecting, and accounting for debts owed to the County of Colusa for a variety of services, excluding delinquent property taxes and child support.  The Revenue and Recovery Division enforces fiscal orders of the court and collects monies owed the County.  Collections include victim restitution, fines and penalty assessments, cost recovery for care of minors in Juvenile Hall and out-of-home placement, recovery for costs of Public Defender services, jail medical, and a variety of fees associated with services provided by the Probation Department.

The Revenue Recovery Division has agreements with the Employment Development Department, the Department of Motor Vehicles, Franchise Tax Board and other agencies, as necessary, in their collection efforts.  The Revenue Recovery Division work with the Clients to set-up a payment plan that is acceptable for the client and the Superior Court and/or the County departments.
